Today, a full-scale Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) exercise was held at the Tampa Convention Center and Port Tampa Bay.
“The three pillars to critical incident management are preparedness, response, and recovery,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “Mitigation is the linked to all three of those. Mitigation is the energy to saving lives.”
We hope that an incident like this would not happen in the city, but in the event that a similar scenario would occur, your first responders are prepared!
