🌙 MARVEL IS GOING DARK. REALLY DARK.
Marvel has officially unveiled its new Midnight Universe, a horror-tinged alternate Marvel Universe featuring new takes on some of its biggest characters.
And after watching the trailer… we have questions.
In this edited segment from the Next Issue Podcast, we break down Marvel Midnight and discuss whether this new universe has what it takes to become something genuinely exciting—or whether Marvel is leaning too heavily into gimmicks.

Does Marvel Midnight have staying power?
With Marvel putting a huge amount of attention behind these books—including releasing the three titles together and experimenting with gimmick covers—we’re wondering whether this is the beginning of something special or another short-lived publishing experiment.
