Syd is trying to move on from a toxic ex when one disastrous encounter changes everything. Now she’s a vampire with an unquenchable thirst for blood. Meanwhile, Izzy is trying to make her dreams happen in New York City while working as a rideshare driver. When Syd ends up in Izzy’s car, there’s an immediate connection — but is this love at first sight, or is somebody about to end up on the menu?

In this spoiler-free review, I talk about the slow-burn storytelling, rising tension, stylish artwork, atmospheric colors, character dynamics and satisfying final act that left me wanting to see what happens next.
