Marty Wilde is one of the true pioneers of British rock ’n’ roll — a singer, songwriter and performer whose career stretches back to the birth of UK pop culture in the late 1950s. Emerging alongside artists such as Cliff Richard and Billy Fury, Wilde became a teenage idol with hits including “Endless Sleep”, “Sea of Love”, “Bad Boy” and “A Teenager in Love”, helping define Britain’s first generation of rock stars. Over the decades he evolved from chart star to respected songwriter, penning hits not only for himself but also for artists including Kim Wilde, Status Quo, Lulu and Tom Jones.

Alongside the new music, Marty is continuing an extensive UK tour schedule with both his full Wildcats show and intimate “An Evening with Marty Wilde” performances, proving that one of Britain’s original rock ’n’ roll legends still has plenty left to say — and sing.
