This is a demonstration that 10 targets is possible without touching the ground. Finally did it after many hours of messing around. I did not optimize for a fast time though, maybe someone else will do it. The flipper hit that sends me to the left part of the map is very precise.
The invincibility glitch was used which pretty much removes the invincibility span when you get hit by the flippers. To activate the glitch start adventure mode and play until the Yoshi battle, then gameover and dont continue.
