This is a demonstration that 10 targets is possible without touching the ground. Finally did it after many hours of messing around. I did not optimize for a fast time though, maybe someone else will do it. The flipper hit that sends me to the left part of the map is very precise.
The invincibility glitch was used which pretty much removes the invincibility span when you get hit by the flippers. To activate the glitch start adventure mode and play until the Yoshi battle, then gameover and dont continue.

Each panel is dependent on the RNG, not on timing. RNG rolls every once in a while, or when CPU gets a panel. Thats why I waited.")

I used pausing in order to mash at 60 hz. But the score caps at 999, otherwise 1200 would have been possible.
CPU level is set to Intense.
If you use only 1 player, then you can get 600 w/ pausing and 300 without.")
