Marriott recently made a big change to Free Night Awards…and it’s actually really good. Until now, when you used a Free Night Award, you could only top it up with 15,000 additional points… which was fine. But now, Marriott increased that cap to 25,000 points. And that might not sound like a big deal… but it massively increases what you can actually book. For example, a 35k point FNA can now get you a 60,000-point room... and an 85k certificate can go all the way up to 110,000 points. That unlocks way more high-end properties that were just out of reach before. Same certificates… way more value. And with a lot of not-so-good changes in the hotel space recently, we needed a win.
