You don’t need complex textures, UV unwrapping, or baking to get a clean, professional render out of Marmoset. If you already have Polypaint on your ZBrush sculpt, you can literally go straight from ZBrush to a final render in just a matter of minutes using Vertex Color.
In this video, I’ll walk through my simple, go-to setup in Marmoset Toolbag 5. We’ll cover how to customize your workspace, correct your model's scale so lights behave properly, and bring your colors over perfectly. I'll also show you how to build a classic three-point lighting setup (key, fill, and edge lights) from scratch, along with a few useful tricks for adding subsurface scattering and depth of field to really make your character pop. Finally, we'll wrap up with a quick Photoshop composite to tie the background together.
