This one is from circa 1986. Somehow, I ended up assisting a shoot for CNN Showbiz Tonight at the old Confetti Nightclub just north of Atlanta in Sandy Springs. We were getting a couple shoutouts from the Girl Group, Bananarama. Happened to be one of the girl's birthday (Shioban?). Someone (was it Producer Jack Poorman?) thought it'd be fun to serve up a cake with sparklers- so I volunteered to light it. What an awesome embarrassing moment- and I now share it with the world!
