A crew just happened to be in the CNN Newsroom/ Studio shooting promotional/documentary footage of a random day's work at the network. This is their montage of the Challenger disaster unfolding live. Please note, this is part of my private collection of videos from my time working at CNN in the 1980's. I have very little info about whom made it. I worked there later that afternoon (I ran studio camera, Floor Directed and ran teleprompter in those days), but I've forgotten names (Except of course Bob Furnad). Please feel free to acknowledge yourselves if you are in it- or, I will also take this down if it infringes on any copyrights from CNN or the Filmakers- I wanted to commemorate the disaster and honor my former co-workers!
