I used this cheap laser engraver: Ortur Master II http://gbe.st/302mPvP
After uploading my previous video about engraving stainless steel with a cheap diode laser machine, I noticed that quite a lot of people had problems getting the same result as I had in my video. I spent a long time looking for the root cause of this problem and finally found that the mustard I used was the answer to this question. After trying different types of mustard for metal engraving, I found out that some mustards did not work at all, while others showed a very good result. The difference was really huge and I, therefore, advise everyone to experiment with different types of mustard to get a good result.
If you use the right kind of mustard it is certainly possible and you mark metal with a cheap laser and mustard. So try different types of mustard and see what it can do for you.
