NintendoTV64 | Mario Party 9 Wario Voice Clips @NintendoTV64 | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
All of Wario's voice clips from Mario Party 9, provided by Charles Martinet, reused from such games as Wario World, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Party 6, Mario Kart DS, Mario Party 8, and Mario Kart Wii, and reused again in Island Tour, 10, Star Rush, Super, and Superstars. Wario's voice in both this game and Island Tour notably uses a mixture of his older higher-pitched voice and his newer deeper-pitched voice, both from the GameCube era, causing him to switch between the two takes on a whim during gameplay. Notably, his KO scream, which appears to be an unused voice clip from either Wario World or Double Dash!!, would be recycled for every Mario Party game afterwards sans Top 100, although with Kevin Afghani taking over as the character's voice in 2023, it's possible this may change starting with Jamboree.
