Enjoy! Of the recent Mario Party stuff I just did in late May of 2025, this had to have been by far the most underwhelming solo mode of the bunch under normal circumstances. The biggest reason I believe is that the CPUs never get up to Brutal difficulty at any point in this "Hard" course. Even as a younger person who couldn't perfect this back 20 years ago (wait, I just realize this game turns 20 this year...), I didn't think about it as much as other modes I played in the series.
So partway into developing this video, I said, "screw it!" and decided I was going increase the difficulty of this mode in my own round-a-bout way! Basically, every minigame shown here was replaced with a version against actual Brutal CPUs. Though one minigame was just not worth saving regardless so I outright replaced it with a different one.
