Here's my Guitar Medley of all the boards from Mario Party 1! This game will forever be the most nostalgic to me because I played it as a kid and it was the only one we had from the N64 trilogy so we played this a lot back then. I have played many of the other Mario Party games as well and all of them have that exact thing about it that I love, the chaos and the fun haha. It's very fair to say that the first Mario Party is the worst one because of it being the first and it had not quite found it's true identity yet with the amount of unfair balance to certain things and stuff like no items for example. While all that is certainly a thing and 6 being my personal favorite of all of them, you can't deny how important this game was going forward and I will always love it for it. The music has stuck with me the most also and I love that Yasunori Mitsuda composed the soundtrack for this (famous for games like Chrono Trigger) and you can definitely hear the Chrono Trigger influences in some of the songs! Luigi's Engine Room sounds a lot like Guardia Castle, I think I hear some of The Trial music in Wario's Battle Canyon and in Bowser's Magma Mountain, I hear a call back to Bowser's Castle from Super Mario RPG, which was composed by Yoko Shimomura! I always think that is really cool. I have played songs like Yoshi's Tropical Island and Mini-Game Stadium already in my original medley of this game, 5 years ago, but I felt like this medley would've felt more complete if I did all of the boards so it was fun to record those again, especially Mini-Game Stadium, that groove will never get old for me! Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy my 2nd Guitar Medley of all the boards in Mario Party 1!
