Mario Murillo has issued one of his strongest warnings yet about Kathryn Krick and Five-Fold Church, calling Krick a “false apostle” and describing her ministry as a cult. In this video, we examine Murillo’s August 15, 2026 article, “Kathryn Krick Is a Test,” and his concerns about healing, deliverance, impartation, sowing seeds, and discernment within the modern Charismatic movement. We’ll compare these claims with Scripture, including 2 Timothy 4:1–5 and Galatians 1:6–9, and discuss why Murillo believes the church’s response to ministries like Krick’s represents a major test of biblical discernment. I believe Christians can embrace the ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit while maintaining a high view of Scripture, sound doctrine, careful biblical study, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the center of everything we do. Drawing on insights from Mario Murillo, R.T. Kendall, Charles Spurgeon, and J. Gresham Machen, we examine the dangers of chasing revival, miracles, impartations, signs, and wonders instead of pursuing Christ Himself. The church does not need to choose between the Word and the Spirit—we need biblical truth alongside the genuine power and work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, Scripture, repentance, the Gospel, sound doctrine, and biblical discernment must come first.
