Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions is an enhanced remake of the 2003 Game Boy Advance game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The game has an added story called Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, which takes place simultaneously with the main story. The game is the first remake in the Mario & Luigi series, the third game in the series to be released for the Nintendo 3DS, and the sixth game in the series overall. Unlike the previous two games, the environments are no longer rendered in 3D. As a result of this, the game is only playable in 2D.
