After the hectic nature of our last session... today we tackle the MK8 tracks, but whoever loses between us we DOWNGRADE our vehicle. You keep your current vehicle if you win the race... this also had all vehicles being inside drift (i.e. Shooting Star). The first few races in this type of challenge are crucial... we hope you enjoy this one!

Welcome to the FINALE of Season 1 of the Road to Master series on Online TT Lounge. We close out Season 1 attaining Master rank on event 56. This is by far one of the best events in the entire series for the combination of the room, close races and overall nerve management being this close to the goal. Even the most seemingly basic of mistakes can happen when the stakes are this high, but keeping composure in this setting is highly underrated.
I find the most joy playing this game in an online capacity (and almost any way to play the game if I am honest) when playing this game mode. Thank you to Melg for capturing the essence of this time trial dreamer game mode I would imagine in 2008, along with the many talented coders who have helped on making this a reality (please visit the Online TT wiki here: https://wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/TTs_Online to take a look at all the contributing authors for the many awesome enhancements and iterations the game mode has gone through now), and bringing a new sector of entertainment when watching content for our favorite game.
As discussed at the very end, there will be multiple seasons for this. Season 2 will start when the Online TT game mode is added to CTGP. Currently, the only way to play this game mode is through Riivolution, which requires many more steps to get things going for people to play, amongst being unsecure unlike CTGP (where weve seen several players cheat in these events in the past as a result) to help insure integrity of the competition.
Until that point, what was also discussed is another idea for a competitive, interactive time trial format for a series. As I alluded to, I may or may not go through with that separate idea. I may do some pilot testing to see if it is something feasible and engaging to watch. For now, thank you all for your support on the channel and during this series. This playlist is very much worth a watch with so many awesome moments in the journey. I hope you look forward to the 2 bonus videos for Season 1 that will come out soon. For now, I hope you enjoy this epic season finale.
