This entire run was made thanks to the final shortcut which was absolutely amazing. I know I can beat this run and I will keep on trying.
For now, Im just so happy that Im .103 ahead of the previous world record holder and .97 ahead of 2nd worldwide, I never thought I would get this far, ever.")

First non-Jap to sub 1:36.700. (o_o!)
Second fastest time in the entire world, this is the spot Ive deserved to be in for such a long time now, its hard to imagine how much effort went into this 1 minute and less than 37 seconds of awesome.
Im not satisfied with this time, Id say all Sections have utter failures... But the thing is, I do not have time to play Mario Kart 7 to such extent anymore due to school, so I guess Ill leave Rainbow Road at this... I hope this will remain permanent Rainbow Road, and at least 2nd Worldwide for a little while...

My biggest World Record cut ever! Im so happy!
This World Record finally exposes the NEW Mushroom strat that I have been trying to get to work since 2017.
Technically, it might even be SLOWER than the previous Mushroom strat, but the thing is that this strat circumvents the extremely difficult to deal with wavy part once you start going at my World Record pace. The wavy part is where I failed a lot of runs over the last years, this Mushroom strat is a real lifesaver.
This was a pretty solid run, though the track can be pushed even further, Ive always said that with the limitations of the human skills, you can push the track to about 1:36.08X, were going to see in the coming years whether my theory made in 2016 still holds strong.
I quit playing for a long time since the debacle of 1:36.159 not getting saved to my cartridge because of a cartridge error, I came back 3 or 4 days ago, and I already set a new World Record! I consider the 1:36.159 the Unofficial World Record, while 1:36.163 was the Official World Record.
First World Record with a 34.9XX Section 2.
I will continue to play this track for now.")
