I was really hoping this would be faster but, alas, it is slower :( But, I have a couple other strategies I'm working on, one of which is definitely faster than my prior (29"47) completion.

Im racing Dan Burbanks 3078 flap ghost here (second place by 0.03). Im playing on NTSC so the time here is 2560. I manage to gain about NTSC 0.08 on his ghost here by weaving through the ramps. Better movement should allow for faster. Reasons this is faster include:
- I pick up a null back right tire off the first ramp (which reduces the drag of the sand) and I keep this until Im even with the next ramp
- I drive on the wet sand (which is faster than the dry sand)
- I think this is a more direct path")

Theres a battle right now for number one at mariokart64.com and it had me motivated to use tools to see what was possible on this track. Its hard to make this ramp cut faster while still ensuring I dont technically take a shortcut (its easy to accidentally jump the fence if you try this). Still, this is fun to try :)")

And I finally made it without tumbling. If it were possible to do that with one mushroom and without tumbling... who knows.")
