Marianne, in campaigning for the presidency, is the only voice for consciousness in the American political landscape. This is the description of the TED talk for the program I produced ten years ago. It’s as timely now as it was then before there was as much familiarity as there is now about the massive consciousness shift she’s talking about that I’m still rabble-rousing for:
Humanity is trying to evolve beyond the mechanistic, Newtonian perspective of the 20th century–past data and metrics to a more relational, even spiritual worldview. From competition to collaboration, from ambition to inspiration, from sales to service, from me to we–we’re being called to a radical change in humanity’s basic operating principle from economics to humanitarian values as our bottom line. Anything less, and the human race is in peril.
