I just picked up this Macintosh Classic II that was sold as:
"Powers on and boots into Mac OS. Very clean on the inside. Was told the batteries on the circuit board can explode so I removed it. Minimal corrosion.
I don’t have the mouse or keyboard so I can’t see if there’s anything interesting on the hard drive"

This is a Mac Classic II purchased as part of the #Sour16 compact Macs. It had bad cap corrosion. I havent been able to fix it and it has a weird boot pattern that I havent been able to figure out.

I I have swapped almost every chip on this board... except the CPU. Lets see if swapping that fixes it.
