Marching Illini Postgame Performance After 50-49 Win Over Purdue! 10-12-2024

We went to the Illini vs Purdue football game on October 12, 2024, and we saw a thrilling game that ended with the Illini beating Purdue, 50-49 in OT! It was an incredible game with many ups and downs, but it ended well. And we literally ended our gameday experience on a high note, by walking down Peabody Dr to the steps of the College of Education, and listening to the Marching Illini's postgame performance. It was fantastic, and under the direction of Professor Barry L. Houser, they are simply one of the best college marching bands in the country. I apologize for the sketchy lighting in this video due to the lowlight conditions, but the music and skill of the band menbers comes through clearly. If you've been to an Illini Football home game, and never taken the time to take in the Marching Illini's poatgame performance, please do...it's well worth your time!
