Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew holds a news conference in Winkler, to announce an investment of $2.4 million to build a new transitional housing complex for women and children escaping family violence. He is joined by Nahanni Fontaine (Manitoba's minister of families) and Angela Braun (executive director of Genesis House).

The premier also responds to questions on today’s federal government announcement of dollar-for-dollar counter-tariffs against the United States.
