I recently spoke one of my art goals into existence - I've always wanted to have a solo gallery exhibition, and since I have to clear out of my studio by the end of the month, this seemed like the perfect opportunity for one final studio showcase. In this video, I start the prep work for one of the biggest events for me this year.

I DID see this coming and I feel like I did a good job of slowing down enough before it hit that it didnt take me all the way out. So, progress ? Im still learning when and how to take a step back, breathe, and enjoy the present for what it is - instead of trying to orchestrate how the future could be. In this video I turn to my favorite therapeutic activities to slow down and relax - drawing and painting.
I have a special project in mind for the crawl space opening that involves acrylics. I havent used them in so long, and I hadnt tried them with this new style/technique Ive fallen for, creating the perfect opportunity for me to do yet another art experiment! Lets hope I can take all the lessons from these tests and make something great to add to the new studio space!
