Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) continues to rise globally, making routine respiratory infections increasingly difficult to treat. Careful Stewardship is essential to preserving antibiotic effectiveness. This video explains how the CHESTSSS tool can be used, by healthcare professionals, during consultations to aid communication about the need for antibiotic treatment. Using the CHESTSSS framework has been shown to support antimicrobial stewardship and reduces AMR.
