2. Jane Stout is Vice President for Biodiversity and Climate Action at Trinity College Dublin and led the launch of the College’s first Sustainability Strategy in January 2024. She manages a team with key targets in three interconnected areas: climate, nature and health. Jane is an internationally renowned expert on pollinator and pollination ecology, and a prominent voice for biodiversity and its value.
Miriam Fitzpatrick is Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Urban Design at UCD’s School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy. She presents the findings of Master’s students who have been studying Pearse Street in Dublin as part of her module Street Life: Urban Design. Miriam is a writer and researcher, and a member of Irish Cities 2070, whose book Irish Cities in Crisis (2024) was published by the RIAI in October 2024.
