Corey Young is suing Albany and two former Albany detectives for $80 million after his conviction was overturned and he was cleared in a 1995 Albany robbery case.
DNA evidence showed the blood left behind did not match Young’s blood type. Even so, three witnesses signed statements implicating him and those statements became key evidence at trial.
