3News has learned that a man was shot outside of the McDonald's on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland's Cudell neighborhood on Tuesday.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers were called to the restaurant at 10710 Lorain Ave. at approximately 11:40 a.m. When officers and first responders arrived, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the parking lot.
The victim was taken by Cleveland EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center. Cleveland police say he is currently listed in stable condition.
Meanwhile, police report that the suspect, a 35-year-old man, fled inside the McDonald's and was arrested by officers. A gun was recovered at the scene.
"The investigation remains active and will be handled by the First District Detective Bureau. Information is subject to change as the investigation continues," Cleveland police told 3News in a statement.
