In this project, the talented craftsman behind the Nasat channel presents one of his most ambitious builds yet: a homemade yacht powered by a recycled Subaru engine.
What begins as an assortment of wood, PVC pipes, and discarded mechanical parts gradually transforms into a fully functional vessel designed for stability, strength, and efficiency. But what truly sets this project apart is such an engine: a decades-old Subaru car motor, ingeniously adapted for marine use.
The idea seems unconventional, yet it’s a brilliant demonstration of engineering adaptability. Every component, from the crankshaft to the transmission, is reimagined to function under marine conditions, providing reliable propulsion and smooth maneuverability. This unexpected fusion of automotive and marine engineering turns what could have been scrap into the beating heart of a handmade yacht.
