He started with a foundation built to endure anything Mother Nature could throw at it. Dmitry spread mesh reinforcement, installed a floor heating system, and added a second, stronger mesh for durability. Sealing the drainage pipes to protect them during concrete pouring, he then poured and screeded the concrete for a smooth finish.
To insulate the cabin and cleverly hide utilities, Dmitry used non-flammable foam boards, which doubled as molds and safeguards for pipes and wiring. The wooden frame walls got their first layer of protection with a vapor barrier, followed by wood cladding panels that blended durability and riverside aesthetics seamlessly.
The pitched roof wasn’t just about style; it was engineered to handle rain, snow, and wind with ease. Dmitry’s angled beams and trusses made for a functional and visually striking crown for the cabin.
Inside, he added rustic furniture crafted from reclaimed wood, paired with wrought iron accents that whispered, “charm and character.” With meticulous attention to detail, Dmitry ensured that everything—down to the grout lines and corner reinforcements—was both practical and beautiful.
