In this stream I played Wacko by Bally Midway (1983) for the Mamemeister High Score Kerfuffle - Season 15 Game 1.
The arcade cabinet for this game is skewed like a fun house, uses a trackball for movement and a 4-way joystick for zap. This makes is very awkward to emulate. I tried with mouse and keys on MAME but that was more awkward than what I eventually settled on which was my homebuild stick on MiSTerFPGA. This does give less control on speed but I did find it more suited to how I play.
The controls being less than idea was not a good thing and the number of moving enemy along with pixel touch collision detection added to the frustration but I did manage to score 49,700 which is far higher than I ever expected to get so I'm happy with this.
