another note, I'm not the biggest fan of catifying characters, I just was tired of drawing humans and cats are much more fun to tween
For this AU I asked myself "what if Avdol didn't manage to get away from Dio?" I came to the conclusion that everyone would most likely die. He would probably just kill Jotaro and Joseph (Holly possibly too) in their sleep and no one would be suspicious cause he already was friends with Joseph.
I didn't want to animate Jotaro dying cuz he's one of my favourite characters, so I just made everyone cats that kinda resemble the characters so I wouldn't feel as bad. Also I thought making Jotaro's collar fuse into his fur like his hat does would look funny and ridiculous. and I was right
About the animation: I'm super proud of how the tweening and the last shot with the fire and lighting came out! I wanted this to be done like 2 weeks ago but procastination and art block hit hard

I’m currently rewatching jojo (am currently about halfway done with part 4) and I am miserable why did I think this would be a good idea
While I am back in a hyperfixation I dont plan to make that much jojo content anymore, although I do want to make some pmvs or animation memes for it well see

oh and I completely forgot to upload wips for this on my cool second channel (@FavencyAct2) and once I remembered I was already almost done with it so uhh surprise video haha
Anyway about the part, this was so much fun to make! Tweening in general is always neat to do, especially with tons of squashing and stretching. Also my first time tweening some walk cycles! It was surprisingly easier than doing one frame by frame and I love how bouncy they came out
I tried out a more cartoony style too and while it is very much based on the Thoth comic book style, I still wanted this to be recognizable to my own style, I hope it is ahaa
I unfortunately had to edit down the song a bit due to copyright but I hope its still enjoyable

Traditional animation was harder than I thought :O I have so much respect for traditional animators right now. It was super fun trying out something new, but it was also really frustating, cause I lost motivation very quickly and my cat decided it would be a great idea to lay on my paper while I was drawing. Im just gonna stick to digital animation.

I love the pokemon games so much, one moment you’re playing with a cute Eevee or something and the next you’re fighting the literal devil, its great

So lately I havent been able to work on anything, not because I wasnt motivated but because life happened. A lot has changed for me and I wasnt prepared for it. People who dont even properly know me have decided how I would live my life and taken me away from home. Thats basically what that vent is about. I made it with a crappy laptop they luckily allowed me to have
My parents didnt give up though and fought for me to get back home and it worked. Im back home again, ready to go to art school. No dumb old people deciding over me again.
