The township of Malua Bay is located on the idyllic NSW South Coast, with beautiful beaches and a strong community. The town was impacted during the 2019/2020 fire season, particularly around the New Year’s Eve period. During this time the Malua Bay Brigade worked 24 hours a day for 40 days straight to protect their community.
