That one pedestrian gate should not have been behaving like that. Every mechanism has a lock that is supposed to disengage but that one was probably the oldest of the 4 gate mechanisms there and most likely that lock wasn't disengaging. Every time the Dinky would roll by it would finally knock the lock loose and allow the gate to drop but by that point well... what's the point. Hopefully NJT got that taken care of.
