Song: Cell Block Tango (He Had It Coming) - Chicago
I really like drawing Malachite in my speedpaints for some reason, but until now I never got around to doing a speedpaint that only had her in it.
So the song "He Had It Coming" by Cell Block Tango/Chicago inspired me to give her a different reason for Malachite to have taken a different path in life.
She was once cheated on, though she was in fact the matriarch at the time (so that reynard was really really stupid to have done that, as he was sentenced to death) and so it led her to believe that all reynards were exactly like him and thus she's not really a card-carrying villain, in fact she thinks she's in the right even when she sees for herself that she's wrong.
So yea Kitsuneology ain't a kids' show anymore.
Also the reason Sakura and Bane don't hold the same opinion as Malachite is because they were much closer to their kindhearted father, Spirit, and spent more time outside than at home. And because anyone with common sense could easily call out BS on Malachite's views.
