New tech workflow and final production art.
We are live for Episode 211 of the Turbo Podcast. This week, we are making a major shift behind the scenes. Jake and Kurt are testing out OBS Studio for recording our podcast moving forward. We are moving away from Riverside.fm because their platform has become more focused on high-grade, studio-level corporate recordings, rather than the down-and-dirty, 3-hour live streaming format we have built our show on.
Behind the tech updates, the drive toward completing our first comic book, DOOM MAGS End of the World Anthology #1, remains the core focus.
On the drawing board today:
Zine Layouts: Jake is continuing his work designing the title zine pages for all the short comics featured in the anthology.
Pin-up Progress: Kurt has his full-color Turbo Pin-up ready on the side while he waits for the scanned pencil pages of Issue #2 from Jake.
Live Production Inking: Today, Kurt is putting ink to paper on another sketch from Jake, specifically intended for the DOOM MAGS #1 zine pages.
Watch the real-time production workflow and tech transition of two indie comic creators building their books and their network in public.
About the Project:
Originally conceived in 1999, Turbo Pit-fighter is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival story. We meet live every Sunday at 10 AM EST to show the entire unfiltered creative process from script to print.
