The final pieces are falling into place.
We are live for Episode 204 of the Turbo Podcast as we move into the critical final production phase for DOOM MAGS End of the World Anthology #1. We are closer than ever to completing our first comic book, and today is all about high-level finishing.
On the boards today:
Lettering and Design: Jake is back in the zone, finishing the lettering for the next 6 pages of the Turbo story. Once complete, he will be transitioning into the design phase for the title zine pages for all the short comics in the anthology.
Final Inking: Kurt is tackling the last 10 pages of the Turbo story. The mission today is fine-tuning the black and white balance to ensure the underground grit of the art translates perfectly to the printed page.
The Milestone: Kurt is now approximately one week away from completing the inks for Turbo Pit-fighter Issue #1.
Originally conceived in 1999, this project is a testament to the idea that persistence beats perfection. Watch the raw, live creative process as we take this sci-fi survival story from script to print.
