I have been asked by a few people if I use AI to generate my art. Honestly, call me naïve, but I had no idea that a lot of the watercolor art I have been seeing made into stickers was generated by AI. I still remember how shocked I was by all of this.

The answer to the question is, NO, I have never used AI to generate my art. I take a long time to compose all of my scenes compiling different furniture, accessories, and architectural elements piece by piece. Just working on the composition takes more than a day, and it takes a little over a day to refine linework and color everything in for each illustration. I also take a long time to compile the type of flowers I want to paint for each month’s collection, paint them, and then design them into stickers. Overall, it takes me almost a month to create a collection for every monthly collection.

I am a mom of two very young kids with no nanny and we homeschool so they do not go to daycare or anything. So it is impossible to paint using brush and paper as I usually paint one-handed with a baby in one arm, or painting in the dark next to my sleeping kids. But hopefully, when the kids grow up I can create more art using brush and paper. I actually filmed these clips with my left hand while holding my 6-month old at the time in the same arm while my husband was taking photos of the May collection. No day is easy, but I can say every day is fulfilling and I can sleep soundly knowing I tried my best.
