How accessible is are my videos anyway? Closed captions and audio descriptions can bring your content to a whole new audience on YouTube. While I'm slowly adding captions to my videos I'm also hoping that YouTube adds audio descriptions soon as well.

While it's great that so much content is being made on YouTube there's quite a few people who aren't able to completely enjoy videos like everyone else. Those with disabilities like visual impairment and blindness as well as those who are deaf and hard of hearing are just a few of the folks who are being pretty left out.

Ever since I made my short film about accepting my blindness Ive felt like I had to at least do my part in making my own content more accessible on YouTube and on social media.

I have to thank James Rath and Rikki Poynter for inspiring me to make this video and to get me to make my content more accessible.
