Hello, my name is Juan Alcazar. Welcome to my channel. I’m a filmmaker/content creator, but I’m also legally blind. On this channel you’ll find me discussing topics like filmmaking with vision loss, to how I live my life and do things as a blind person, to talking a little about assistive technology. I’ve always loved telling stories, and on here you’ll find me telling my own stories whether in a sit down video talking to you all, or in a format like a short film. Unfortunately many people’s ideas of what blindness is come from stereotypes and misconceptions. I’m hoping that my voice, while small, can help a bit in reversing those stereotypes.
