Angela Fehr Watercolour | Making great art is like getting struck by lightning? Conversation between Ian Roberts & Angela Fehr @angelfehr | Uploaded April 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
We all hope to make great art, but how can you know if what you are making has the potential to be great? Can you reconcile yourself to the idea that you might consider yourself lucky to make only one or two truly great paintings in your lifetime? If you truly can't identify your own greatest work, how can you commit to painting and find joy in the practice of art?

Ian Roberts @IanRobertsMasteringComposition and I talked about some of these ideas in a recent conversation and I wanted to share a piece of that conversation with you.
