In this video I show you the making and installing of a wooden handle onto a large ceramic mug. The wood is cherry and figured walnut with a rubbed oil finish.

Pieces of high temperature wire were embedded in the clay before firing, and then high strength epoxy was used to attach the handle encapsulating the embedded wire.
