I saved a lot of large roots from the Horse Chestnut Tree stump that needed to be removed for groundwork to take place. Before woodturning they need to be well cleaned. A careful check for any stones or other debris that may be embedded in the root as it grew.

I love working with Tree Roots as the grain is usually really nice due to the stresses and challenges they have during their time growth.

I made a Simple Shaped Vase for Dry Flowers and I really liked the final work. I applied two coats of spray varnish as a finish.
