I needed a way to hold Printed Circuit Board while soldering components. I have a helping hand type stand that has Crock Clips, but it's not always comfortable to work with, so I came up with this simple design.
This Clamp Stand can be used for many applications where the need to hold small parts is required.
The basic idea can be expanded upon by changing the dimensions to suit other needs.
I like the idea of making my own Tools, especially if it is a Tool that is not easily found or readily available. Handmade Tools give great satisfaction and for me it is fun knowing that I created something to help me better improve my woodworking experience.
