In Chapter 18 of "Little Women" Beth March is described as having a "little brown hood." Since this is one of the few accessories that is documented that she owns and wears, I decided to make one for our Little Women Collab project.

The Sisters:
Melissa of @HattoHem as Meg March
Dixie of @DixieDIY as Jo March
Elise of @welldressedhistorian as Amy March

In this video I used the Mid Victorian Hood Pattern from Anna Worden Bauersmith. You can view her Etsy shop here-

I have always wanted to make a mid Victorian hood and I am very happy that I now have. It will be the perfect accessory to take to winter reenactments and historical costume events.

While doing this project I also developed a love of quilting and I see more quilting projects in my future.
