Historical Belle | Come with us to an Outlander Themed 18th Century Ball @HistoricalBelle | Uploaded July 2023 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
Come with us to an Outlander Themed 18th Century Ball hosted by our Historic Dance Troupe, Atlanta Historic Dance.

This ball was held on the campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, the ball featured live 18th Century music from England and Scotland.

It felt like we traveled back in time.
The troupe performed some more difficult dances and beginner-friendly dances were called and help was provided by members of Atlanta Historic Dance.

If you are ever interested in attending a ball by Atlanta Historic Dance, no dance partner is needed.

Also there was period finger foods and non-alcoholic punch provided.

We also learned about dueling with pistols and experienced traditional parlor games with our fellow time-travelers.

The dress code followed the timeline of the Outlander book series: 18th century attire from any country is preferred; 1940s, 1960s, or modern formal attire is also welcome.
