Today I am sewing my entry for #shirtwaistseptember hosted by @ashleymmakes and @SewRena. This is a shirtwaist dress that features a faux undershirt with pintucks and a collar and then flares for the skirt. I created it using a cotton-linen blend, a vintage pillowcase and vintage trim from my stash. The dress was sewn using vintage pattern Butterick 5636 from 1951.
