Turning wood requires sharp cutting tools. This is especially so when you use less than perfect wood.
I have some old wood from a Peach tree that I planted when my daughters were young. It died and I wanted to see if the wood will be suitable to make some projects.
As I started to turn it, I found that my tools were dull. So, I set aside a day to go through all my turning tools and get them into shape for the winter turning season.
Most of them only required a light touchup. Two, however, required complete regrind and sharpening because they were damaged. Here is that process using my Tormek T7 sharpener.
