An antique Victorian Sraircase needed two balusters replaced. The details encountered were:

- identifying and acquiring the correct wood.
- turning the exact shape and dimensions of the spindles.
- matching the color of the stain.
- replicating the look and gloss of the finish.
- installing them without removing the top rail.

In this video, I recover from my previous FAILURE and acquire the correct wood.
Then I turn spindles and assemble ballusters to match the existing ones,
