It's time once again for the Annual Maple Leaf Shootout Truck and Tractor Pull. Every year, this nationally sanctioned competition donates proceeds to local causes. This year the cause was for Jack Wormington and his family in their fight against cancer.
I was asked to design and make unique trophies for the winners of each class in the competition. This first video shows the steps taken to fabricate all 16 trophies.
The second video will show the finished trophies, some scenes from the competition and a few winners. ( It will post on Monday.)
Although the woodworking appears to be simple, I spent a good deal of time explaining how to do repetitive tasks reliably and with good results.
